Description

A unique opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join one of our valued clients in Hertfordshire on a fixed-term contract. We are seeking candidates who are immediately available and can commit to working up to 28 hours per week onsite for c6 months with possibility of extension.

• HR Manager (FTC c6 months)
• 20 – 28 hours per week (split over 3,4 or 5 days )
• Based in Hertfordshire
• Salary up to £59,000 FTE (pro-rata for part-time hours)

Key Responsibilities:
• Business Partnering: Collaboratively work with the Senior Leadership Team, providing coaching and advice on all people-related issues.
• Payroll: Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely submissions to the external Payroll provider and reviewing reports before confirming payments.
• Reward and Benefits: Manage the annual performance and salary review processes, as well as the benefits offering.
• Policy and Procedures: Offer advice and support on company policies, adapt and implement new policies and processes as required, reflecting changes in employment law.
• Performance Management: Coach and support managers on performance-related issues and processes.
• Employee Relations: Manage aspects like absence, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, and holidays.
• Recruitment and Retention: Oversee recruitment activities, assisting managers with identifying business needs and retaining key talent.
• Learning and Development: Implement training agenda, identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance on development for managers and teams.
• Health and Safety: Oversee Health and Safety across the business.

Essential Skills:

• A true HR generalist with comprehensive experience in managing all HR facets, including payroll.
• Confidence in advising senior managers across the full HR spectrum.
• Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to various audiences from Senior Leadership to employees.
• Professional and commercial approach.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
