Our client, an established regulator overseeing international online gambling businesses, is seeking a Senior Licensing Officer. The position can be based in Guernsey or Alderney.

Supporting the Director of Licensing, the successful candidate will investigate licence applications, assess applicants and key individuals, and prepare clear reports and recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting due diligence on businesses, ownership structures and key individuals.
• Undertaking sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening, alongside open source research.
• Managing applications, meeting applicants and liaising with other authorities.
• Assessing licensing requirements and handling changes to ownership, licences and certificates.

Applicants should bring relevant due diligence, compliance, regulatory or investigative experience. Sound judgement, strong report-writing skills and the ability to interpret legislation are essential. Training in the legal and operational frameworks will be provided.
