Description

A well-established and independent provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations & Business Support to join their Guernsey team. The organisation operates across multiple jurisdictions, offering tailored solutions to companies, individuals, and families worldwide.

About the Role
This is a key leadership position within the central services team, responsible for managing the Guernsey Companies’ Registry processes for both client and in-house entities, ensuring updates are completed within mandatory timelines. You will oversee the accuracy and alignment of key data in the core database (Acumen), support transformation projects, and drive efficiency improvements through automation and process enhancements.

You will also be the point of contact for all registry matters, manage annual validation statements, coordinate fiduciary annual returns, and maintain data protection registers. The role involves working closely with client-facing teams, supporting banking relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance with GFSC and Guernsey Registry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all Companies’ Registry updates and ensure timely submissions.
• Act as primary contact for registry supervision visits and related matters.
• Manage annual validation and fiduciary annual return processes.
• Maintain and align data in Acumen, ensuring consistency across jurisdictions.
• Support transformation projects and explore efficiency gains through automation.
• Manage data protection registration processes and maintain accurate records.
• Provide operational support for banking relationships and reporting requirements.
• Champion corporate governance, promoting professionalism and collaboration across the business.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in Trust and Company operations or a client-facing trust and company role transitioning to operations.
• Relevant professional qualification.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Broad understanding of sector risks, operations, and risk management best practices.
• Experience in private wealth or corporate services in a cross-jurisdictional environment.
• Proven project management skills with minimal supervision.
• Sound judgement, good presentation skills, and ability to produce technical reports.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
