Senior Mechanical Engineer – Commissioning & Site Management
Location: Glasgow (Onsite)

A leading and rapidly growing company in the Energy Saving / Renewables space has a vacancy for a key member of their M&E retrofit team. They are seeking a technically sharp and hands-on Senior Mechanical Engineer to steer commissioning and delivery across apartment installations and energy centre works. If you’re experienced in heat networks, hydronic systems, and thrive in dynamic environments—this one's for you.
What You'll Do
- Oversee apartment and energy centre commissioning with precision and high standards
- Conduct technical site surveys, identify system faults, and implement real solutions
- Mentor and lead on-site teams, embedding quality into every part of the process
- Interface with controls/software teams to refine commissioning workflows and improve system performance
- Support recruitment and training for long-term service delivery
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical/building services engineering
- Robust knowledge of heat networks, thermodynamics, and M&E retrofit environments
- Confidence in site investigations and issue resolution
- Strong communication and leadership to engage multidisciplinary teams
Experience in live residential retrofits and operational maintenance planning will set you apart.
