A leading financial services company is seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing management of their technical and security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
• Define, implement, and maintain infrastructure and security solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage technical specialists, external consultants, and contract resources effectively.
• Design and implement robust systems and services, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
• Oversee infrastructure changes including assets, configurations, and documentation.
• Ensure the infrastructure's capability, functionality, and sustainability meet both current and future business requirements.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive technology documentation, adhering to professional standards and practices.
• Proactively manage problem resolution, documentation, and root cause analysis to minimize future incidents.
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, and external clients.
• Continually analyse, measure, report on, and improve technology services and infrastructure.
• Maintain specialist-level expertise within technical infrastructure domains, providing strategic advice.
What You Need:
• Minimum of five years’ experience in detailed technical infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience in delivering infrastructure and security solutions.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Microsoft MCITP/MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix certifications, Cisco CCIE/CCDA/CNA).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally, primarily within Europe.
