New Role for a Service Manager to join a very well established Hi Tech Logistics company based in Ashford, Middlesex.
Reporting to the UK Service & Installations Manager, the role of the Service Manager is crucial to the success and development of the departments Technical Centre.
• Be the interface between the Warehouse, Client operations, Technical Warehouse Operatives to ensure
successful day to day planning and execution of workload.
• Manage a team of Technical Warehouse Operatives & Team Leaders ensuring a high level of service,
process adherence and contractual obligations are achieved and maintained.
• Work closely with the installation team in the daily resourcing of field service engineers.
• Always be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
• Co-ordinate the production and reporting of metrics to control, track and act on key performance data
linked to relevant aspects of team performance
Some role duties would include :-
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team leaders & technical warehouse
operatives, making the most efficient use of resources available, both staff and space.
• Work alongside the Installation Managers in allocating technical service surveys & break fix jobs to
available technicians.
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy for updating systems and records, reusable catalogue (FM) DEMS,
Oracle & Elton etc.
• Assisting the team with reporting any defects or missing items to the client operations team and or end
customer and follow escalation process for performance issues, updating tracker reports.
• Ensure Radiation Protection Supervisor responsibilities are in place within the team and relevant
qualification and training requirements are facilitated.
• Maintain and Enforce Radiation Procedure – including the X-ray badge reports and processing.
• Constantly review processes and systems and recommend improvements and changes.
• Organise all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff.
• Ensure that stock checks and monthly and annual checks/audits are undertaken and are accurate

Salary up to 40K subject to experience
Working Hours Mon - Fri 0900 - 1800Hrs (include 1 hour lunch break per day)
