About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee small to medium-sized construction and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise site activities from project start through to completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Ensure all works are completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Manage site documentation, reports, and records.
Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to provide project updates.
Resolve site issues quickly and effectively to minimise delays.
Ensure materials, equipment, and labour resources are available as required.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
Experience overseeing and delivering small works projects successfully.
Strong understanding of construction processes and site management practices.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance requirements.
SMSTS certification preferred.
CSCS Card required.
First Aid at Work qualification desirable.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
