Sous Chef – Savoury Production Kitchen – Day Shifts – Cheshire – £35k
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm | Monday to Friday | No weekends
Perfect Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a high-quality savoury production kitchen based in Cheshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef with a rosette background who is looking to take their skills into a more structured environment while enjoying a significantly improved work-life balance.
Working with high-quality ingredients and exceptional standards, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing the daily production of premium savoury products, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across the operation.
The Role:
• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the savoury production kitchen
• Assist in leading and developing the kitchen team
• Oversee production processes, ensuring quality and consistency
• Maintain exceptional food standards and presentation
• Support menu/product development and continuous improvement
• Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
• Help manage kitchen organisation, efficiency, and workflow
The Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Strong background in rosette-standard kitchens, fine dining, hotels, or high-quality restaurants
• Passionate about using quality ingredients and maintaining excellent standards
• Experience supporting and developing kitchen teams
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Looking for a move away from traditional hospitality hours while still producing exceptional food
The Benefits:
• Salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience
