Are you a Pastry Chef looking for a new challenge outside of the traditional kitchen environment?
We're recruiting for a growing food production business in Warrington that's looking to add an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to its expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented pastry professional who wants to take their skills into a more structured production setting while continuing to create high-quality products.
The business is going through an exciting period of growth and development, making this a great time to join the team. You'll be joining a supportive and passionate team where every day is different, with the opportunity to have a real impact as the company continues to evolve.
What's involved?
As Pastry Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day production operation, helping to maintain high standards across all pastry products while ensuring consistency, quality and efficiency.
You'll work closely with the team to deliver products in line with recipes and specifications, while also bringing your own pastry knowledge and creativity to the role. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to get involved in research and development, helping shape new products and ideas.
What we're looking for:
• Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef, Senior Pastry Chef de Partie or similar.
• Strong pastry skills with a passion for quality and consistency.
• Experience working to recipes, specifications and production standards.
• A chef who enjoys supporting and developing others.
• Someone interested in moving into the food production/manufacturing side of the industry.
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
What's in it for you?
• £33,000 - £35,000 salary.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• 6:00am - 3:30pm shifts.
• No weekend work - unless you want it.
• Christmas closure, including Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day off.
• Excellent work-life balance compared to traditional kitchen roles.
• Opportunity to join a growing and developing business.
• Future opportunities to get involved in research and development.
If you're a passionate pastry chef looking for a fresh challenge where your skills can make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
