We’re working with a luxury independent hotel that is looking for an ambitious and talented Sous Chef to join their kitchen team and work closely with an experienced Head Chef.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who wants to be part of a kitchen where quality, creativity and consistency really matter. You’ll be trusted to bring ideas to the table, support menu development and play a key role in driving standards across the operation.

The kitchen focuses on fresh, quality ingredients, well-executed dishes and delivering memorable dining experiences. This isn’t a role where you’ll just be following instructions — you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, develop your skills and progress within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role
• Supporting the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen
• Helping to maintain exceptional standards across food quality, presentation and consistency
• Cooking with fresh, quality ingredients and ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen to a high standard
• Supporting menu ideas and bringing creativity to the operation
• Leading, motivating and developing junior chefs
• Taking responsibility for the kitchen during the Head Chef’s absence
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver a great guest experience

About You
• Previous Sous Chef experience within a quality hotel, restaurant or fine dining environment
• Passionate about food and committed to delivering high standards
• Confident leading a team and supporting junior chefs
• Creative, organised and commercially aware
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
• Ambitious and looking for a role where you can develop and progress
