Chef de Partie – Family Run Restaurant
Wigan, WN6
£13.50 - £14.00 per hour | 40-45 Hours | Permanent | Straight and Split Shifts
Perfect Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established family-run restaurant in the Wigan area, currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie looking for a stable role within a busy and successful restaurant environment. The operation covers up to 170 guests alongside weddings and corporate events, so you’ll need to be confident working in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards throughout service.
The restaurant has a strong reputation locally and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their skills, contribute ideas to the menu, and become a key part of a growing kitchen team.
The Role:
• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
• Working across all sections of the kitchen during busy services
• Supporting weddings, events and restaurant service
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Supporting stock control, portion control and waste management
• Assisting with menu development and bringing creative ideas to the kitchen
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth service
The Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie within a busy restaurant, hotel or events environment
• Minimum 2 years' experience at Chef de Partie level
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
• Valid Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
• Reliable transport due to the location
