£28,000 – £29,000 + tips | 40–45 hours | 5 days over 7
We’re recruiting for a strong Chef de Partie to join a well-run 4-star countryside hotel kitchen in Skelmersdale.
This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, supportive environment with a team that values consistency, calm delivery, and professionalism. The hotel operates a busy but well-structured food offer, with a mix of fresh preparation and quality pre-prepared elements, supporting both restaurant service and a strong corporate/events trade.
The kitchen has a no ego culture, with a friendly, practical team focused on getting the job done well rather than unnecessary pressure.
The Role
• Running a section confidently during service and prep
• Producing consistently high-quality dishes for restaurant and events service
• Supporting senior chefs with prep, organisation, and service delivery
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen standards
• Working efficiently across both busy event days and quieter service periods
• Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment
What We’re Looking For
• Experience as a Chef de Partie in a fresh food, hotel, or events kitchen
• Strong all-round kitchen skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a structured but busy environment
• Reliable, calm, and consistent under pressure
• A genuine team player with a positive attitude
