40 Hour Week | 4 or 5 Days | No Late Finishes
We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a vibrant pan-Asian / sushi concept in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh, healthy ingredients in a modern kitchen environment, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
The venue offers a great work-life balance with a 40-hour week, flexible 4 or 5 day working pattern, and no late-night finishes.
The Role
As Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. You will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting the team, and delivering consistently high-quality dishes during service.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading service and ensuring food is delivered to a high standard
• Managing and motivating the kitchen team
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and supplier management
• Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen compliance standards are met
• Supporting with menu execution and maintaining consistency across dishes
• Standing in for the Head Chef when required
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Sous Chef with experience in pan-Asian cuisine, sushi, or similar fresh food concepts.
You will ideally have:
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous
• A background in pan-Asian, sushi or Asian-inspired cuisine
• Strong service leadership and organisational skills
• Experience with fresh food, high standards and quality ingredients
• The ability to train, motivate and support a kitchen team
• A positive attitude and passion for modern Asian cooking
