Special SEND school looking for Support Staff

The School:
Based in St Helens WA9 the school provides KS4 Transition Programs to pupils aged between 14-19 who have a variety of SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Challenging Behaviour. The school is a Specialist Arts College and is looking for a dedicated 1:1 support worker to join the team who has the following SEND Experience;
•ASD
•PMLD
•Downs Syndrome
•Challenging behaviour

The Job:
As a 1:1 support worker your job will be to support students with ASD, PMLD and challenging behaviour both inside and outside the classroom. Having a patient and adaptable approach and using arts-based activities you will help students to access learning through meaningful and creative ways. Your role will be essential in helping students access education and achieve their individual potential.
