Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Stockport
Axcis Education is proud to be working in partnership with a local primary school in Stockport to recruit for this exciting role.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to provide 1:1 support for a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s learning and emotional development within a supportive school environment.
Position details:
• Start date: After Half-term
• Location: Stockport
• Contract type: Full-time, long-term
• Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEMH support)
The ideal candidate will:
• Be calm, patient, and compassionate in their approach
• Have experience working in a primary school setting
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards one
• Be able to support a child with their learning, emotional regulation, and social development
• Work collaboratively with a caring and dedicated team of staff
