Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Central Bristol from November 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm) with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant in Central Bristol, you will:
• Support pupils in Early Years with Autism, providing individualised support.
• Implement tailored strategies to develop communication, sensory regulation, and classroom engagement.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent, child-centred support.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Central Bristol who has:
• Experience working with young children with Autism, ideally in an Early Years or nursery setting.
• A patient, creative, and nurturing approach to supporting children with SEND.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
