Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in South Bristol from September 2025, supporting pupils in their Learning Base as they work towards their GCSEs.

About the Role:
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (term-time only)
• Support secondary-age pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Dyslexia
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum and build key academic and life skills
• Adapt resources and provide personalised support to help students reach their potential
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experience working with MLD, Dyslexia, or additional learning needs is desirable but not essential
• A patient, empathetic approach to helping students overcome barriers to learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people
