Axcis Education is proud to be working with a large, well-established SEND school in St Helens that supports pupils aged 4–14 with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and complex medical and learning needs.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicate Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time or part-time, long-term basis from September 2026. The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil throughout the school day.
• Help the pupil access learning in the classroom and around the wider school environment.
• Deliver personalised learning and intervention programmes under the guidance of teachers and specialist staff.
• Encourage communication, emotional regulation, independence, and positive social interaction.
• Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet the individual needs of the pupil.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Have previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals (desirable but not essential).
