Teaching Assistant – Bolton (BL2) – Immediate Start
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the Bolton (BL2) area. This temporary role will begin on 1st December 2025 and will continue until the end of the current academic year. Key Responsibilities
• Provide classroom support to the Class Teacher across a range of subjects.
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to behaviour management, pastoral care and daily routines.
• Help deliver targeted interventions under the direction of teaching staff.
Requirements
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable.
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a collaborative team.
• Confidence supporting children of varying abilities.
• A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
