Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join a primary school and provide outstanding support to pupils with additional needs.

About the Role:
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with their academic, personal and emotional needs. You will help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can feel supported and able to engage in their learning.
This role would be particularly well suited to someone from a care background who understands the importance of patience, empathy and sensitivity when supporting individuals with additional needs.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs
• Has experience working with children or vulnerable individuals, ideally within education, care or support settings
• Is patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Can be sensitive to learners' personal, emotional and academic needs
• Is confident working as part of a wider school team
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference
• Has a Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service as an essential requirement
