Are you a friendly, patient, and caring person looking for a truly meaningful role in Bath? We’re looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist provision in Key Stage?3, supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism. In this inclusive, nurturing setting, you’ll work alongside a specialist teacher and a small, dedicated team in a unique environment that includes classrooms, an intervention area, a sensory ‘Canopy’, life skills kitchen and even an allotment patch.

What the role offers:
• A full-time position (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm), starting as soon as possible.
• A 16-week settling-in period, after which the role becomes permanent.
• Pay of £13.70 per hour.
• Daily opportunities to build positive relationships, support individual learning, and contribute to students’ personal growth in a well-regarded Church of England secondary school.
Who we’d love to hear from:
• Local people, graduates, youth workers, sports coaches, experienced support staff, or anyone with a kind heart and a genuine desire to help vulnerable young people thrive.
• People who value kindness, patience, positivity, curiosity and a collaborative spirit—above formal experience.
• Team players who are flexible, caring and able to bring warmth, empathy and energy to every school day.
Why join us?
You’ll work in an environment praised by Ofsted, be part of a thoughtful specialist provision, and make a real difference to young lives—without needing prior TA certificates. If you’re motivated by connection, compassion, and seeing students develop confidence and skills, you’ll fit right in.
