As a full-time General Teaching Assistant at a secondary school, you will work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Assist students with SEND, providing one-on-one support tailored to their individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting a love for learning.
• Help with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
• Collaborate with the teacher and other staff to meet students' educational goals.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to pupils, building their confidence.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is advantageous.
• A genuine understanding of the diverse needs of young learners and the ability to remain patient and supportive.
• Willingness to work with different age groups and learning abilities.
