We are seeking an experienced Telehandler Operative to join our construction team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations by safely and efficiently operating a telehandler to move materials, assist trades, and maintain site logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a telehandler safely and competently in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations.
Load, unload, move, and distribute materials around the site.
Assist with deliveries and storage of materials.
Support site management and various trades with lifting and handling requirements.
Conduct daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance checks on the machine.
Report defects, hazards, and safety concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Follow all site rules, risk assessments, and method statements.
Requirements
Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites.
Strong understanding of site logistics and material handling.
Good awareness of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Full PPE and own transport preferred.
Desirable
Experience working on residential or commercial construction projects.
Additional plant tickets or construction-related certifications.
First Aid or Safety Awareness certification.
