Description

A prestigious international financial services provider is seeking an experienced trust professional to take on a key role in the administration and management of a diverse portfolio of trust and corporate structures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and professional team, with the chance to build client relationships and contribute to the mentoring of junior staff.

Responsibilities of the Role
• Oversee day-to-day administration of trust and company structures, including cash management, payments, exercising discretionary powers, and maintaining accurate records.
• Monitor and review client investment portfolios.
• Ensure timely recording of chargeable time and prompt invoicing.
• Act as the primary or backup relationship manager for selected clients, attending meetings and following up on agreed actions.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
• Manage and supervise junior team members through:
o Setting SMART objectives and monitoring performance.
o Providing training and delegating tasks effectively.
o Ensuring completion of review action points.
• Ensure all client due diligence (CDD) records are kept up to date.
• Proactively manage aged debtors and pursue outstanding payments.

Qualifications and Experience Required
• Minimum of four years’ relevant experience in trust and company administration.
• Near completion of a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA Certificate, STEP Foundation).
• Strong knowledge of offshore trust and company administration practices.
• Sound understanding of Guernsey’s regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
• Proven ability to delegate, manage, and check work to ensure team goals are achieved on time.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development—for yourself and others.
