Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established fiduciary services provider during a key period of transition. Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Trust Manager to take ownership of a portfolio while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues—with clear scope for career advancement.

Applicants currently at Senior Administrator level with relevant experience and a desire to progress are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will oversee a varied portfolio of trust and company structures, delivering high-quality administration services and acting as the primary point of contact for clients. Working closely with senior management, this individual will also contribute to strategic initiatives and process improvements as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take day-to-day responsibility for an allocated portfolio of trust and company structures, ensuring accurate administration and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex matters, working independently and providing appropriate solutions.
• Lead client communications, attending meetings and maintaining long-standing relationships.
• Review work completed by administrators, providing coaching and support to foster development and accuracy.
• Prepare and review reporting deliverables, including statutory, regulatory, and management reports.
• Record chargeable time accurately and ensure timely billing of fees.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and systems reviews as part of wider team development.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in trust and company administration.
• A relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring team members.
• Strong understanding of complex trust and company structures.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional reporting and regulatory frameworks.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Experience with time-charging and fee management.
• A proactive, independent approach combined with a collaborative team mindset.
