Description
A respected Guernsey-based trust company, part of a growing international group, is seeking a CDD & Client File Reviewer to join their team on a fixed-term contract of 6–12 months. This role is integral to ensuring the company’s adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, supporting its commitment to excellence and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive CDD and enhanced due diligence checks on existing clients, including individuals, companies, trusts, and other structures.
• Review and assess client documentation in line with Guernsey AML/CFT regulations, GFSC rules, and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CDD records within internal systems.
• Escalate high-risk matters to the Compliance Officer or MLRO.
• Liaise with client relationship teams to obtain outstanding documentation and resolve CDD queries.
• Conduct periodic and ongoing reviews of client files, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Log and track required action points following file reviews.
Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance or client-facing role within the trust, fiduciary, or financial services industry.
• Previous experience as a Client File Reviewer is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory framework and AML regulations.
• ICA or STEP qualification desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills.
• Competence in using systems such as 5-Series and/or Laserfiche is an advantage.
