Job Title: PPA Cover Teachers & Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools
Location: Rochdale & Oldham
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day (D2D), Short-Term & Long-Term Placements
Pay:
• Teachers: £140 – £200 per day (dependent on experience & role)
• Teaching Assistants: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience & role)

Axcis Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable PPA Cover Teachers to register with us and work across welcoming primary schools in Rochdale and Oldham.

With opportunities available from after February half-term, we are looking for flexible teachers seeking day-to-day supply, short-term roles, or long-term placements.

The Role: As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Provide high-quality teaching while class teachers complete Planning, Preparation & Assessment (PPA) time
• Adapt to different school settings confidently and professionally
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and working across different year groups.

What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
