This is an excellent opportunity to support a fast-paced and high-performing accounting team, working across a varied portfolio of international clients. The successful candidate will assist in managing a team of junior accountants and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting across a diverse client base including trusts, companies and other structures.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing financial statements for a small portfolio of moderately complex trust and company entities.
• Reviewing financial statements prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Producing ad-hoc financial reports including management accounts, interest schedules and asset statements.
• Supporting the Client Accounts Manager with day-to-day operations and team oversight.
• Liaising with clients and professional advisers on accounting matters, where appropriate.
• Assisting with the training, development and supervision of junior staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) and possess at least five years’ experience preparing trust and company accounts. Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A is required, along with the ability to handle moderately complex reporting structures. Applicants should be comfortable working to regulatory standards, possess strong review skills, and take a proactive approach to maintaining current knowledge of accounting practices and jurisdictional filing deadlines.
