Contract type: Long-term, with the possibility of becoming permanent
Working hours: Full time
Location: Redbridge
Hourly rate: £13.70
About the Role:
- Work with students aged 16 to 21, both in classroom group settings and on a 1:1 basis
- Support learners with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated tutor, receiving ongoing support and guidance
- Follow tailored lesson plans to meet individual students’ needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with SEN, particularly in a secondary aged or post-16 setting
- A positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to supporting student success through challenge, personalisation, and innovation
- Epilepsy trained, or willing to undertake epilepsy training
- Familiarity with medical needs, including administering insulin, or willingness to be trained
