EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Studley
Location: Studley
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in nursery and reception at a caring early years setting in Studley.
This role focuses on supporting young learners aged 2–5 with communication difficulties, autistic traits, and early learning delays.
The Role:
You will:
• Work with small groups and 1:1 to provide structured, play-based interventions.
• Support children with communication needs using visual aids, Makaton or simplified routines.
• Assist with transitions, sensory regulation, and basic early learning goals.
• Help children develop social interaction, attention and independence.
• Work in close partnership with the class teacher and SENCO.
About You:
• Experience working in nursery, EYFS, or early years SEN support.
• Passionate about early intervention and inclusive development.
• Familiar with strategies for autism and communication support.
• Calm, consistent and playful in your approach to learning.
