We are currently looking for a teaching support assistant to support pupils in the EYFS reception class in an ASD-specific special school. The pupil has suspected autism and some communication difficulties. They do not have challenging behaviour however sometimes get frustrated when they are unable to do a task or get confused. Experience in supporting within the EYFS curriculum would be highly desirable ans supporting individuals with learning and cognition needs is essential. The position is long term for the right person and will be ongoing for the academic year. The school is located in Wolverhampton and easily accessible via public transport.
