The Opportunity:
Kenton Black Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator on behalf of a business that is based in the Carlisle area. This company is well established and has a turnover in excess of 195 million pounds. The vacancy requires the successful candidate to work on a full-time and permanent basis. You'll have finance / accounts experience, but full training will be given. - A salary up to £25,000

Your New Role as the Finance Administrator:
• Processing bank payments on the Online banking system ensuring payment deadlines are achieved and all payments made accurately and on time
• Download bank statements from the bank and import into the finance system
• Posting bank transactions, manual payments, direct debits and receipts to the finance system
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Deal timeously and courteously with any external or internal queries ensuring that query is satisfactorily resolved.
• Preparation and posting of exchange rate adjustments
• Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts on the finance system
• Input and maintenance of coach drivers system
• Any other duties as required
Experience and Skills Required to Apply:
• Financial, analytical, and numerical skills
• Demonstrable writing skills
• Demonstrable telephone skills
• At least 1 year of accounts / finance experience (ESSENTIAL)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Capable of working to deadlines
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• A good communicator
