Description

Join a leading international professional services firm as a Finance Systems Manager. This crucial role involves managing, enhancing, and supporting the firm's financial systems, specifically the Aderant practice management system. The role ensures optimal system functionality, supports finance operations, and enhances user experience through comprehensive training and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary contact for all finance system-related queries, with a particular focus on Aderant.
• Maintain system integrity, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead system upgrades, including transitioning Aderant from an on-premises solution to the Aderant AWS cloud platform (Sierra).
• Troubleshoot technical issues, liaising effectively with IT teams and external vendors.
• Deliver user training and develop thorough documentation to enhance user proficiency.
• Support finance teams with data reporting, extraction, and compliance auditing.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements based on user community feedback.

What You Need:
• Proven experience managing and supporting Aderant practice management system within a law firm or professional services environment is essential.
• Accountancy or bookkeeping qualification or relevant experience is desired.
• Strong technical expertise in system configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, SQL, MS Excel, and reporting tools (such as SSRS Report Builder and Power BI).
• Exceptional communication skills with a proactive, responsible, organised, and adaptable approach.
• Experience managing projects and system integrations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of legal finance operations and regulatory compliance.
