Description

Join a leading wealth management firm and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for its Channel Island entities. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working under the International CFO, you will manage financial records for both the local Board and the wider group finance function in London. This role is primarily focused on CI operations but offers the chance to contribute to global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of management information reports, including management accounts, assets under management, and annual budgets.
• Liaise with auditors for the annual audit and preparation of financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis of the group and assist with the implementation of business plans.
• Manage the raising of revenue invoices and the calculation of quarterly account handling fees.
• Support the Accounts Payable function with invoice processing and payment checking.
• Prepare quarterly statistical returns for submission to the GFSC and JFSC.
• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Review daily cash requirements and assist with group reporting for newly acquired businesses.
• Travel to Jersey and the UK on a quarterly or half-yearly basis to visit group offices.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a recently qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a results-oriented approach and an analytical mindset. You should possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, while experience with Sage 200, NetSuite, or Anaplan is highly beneficial.

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. You must be able to work well independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to act as a positive corporate citizen. Supervisory and leadership skills are also required for this role.
