Full-Time SEMH Teaching Assistant – EN3
Start Date: After October Half-Term 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday to Friday
Location: Specialist SEN Primary School, EN3
A supportive and well-resourced SEN school in EN3 is looking for a committed and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time after the October half-term.
You’ll be working closely with pupils in upper primary and lower secondary (Years 6–10) with a focus on SEMH and behavioural needs, as well as autism (ASD). The role involves providing consistent classroom and 1:1 support to help students manage behaviour, develop emotional regulation, and access learning.
We’re looking for someone who:
-Has strong experience supporting children with SEMH and behavioural challenges
-Is calm, resilient, and proactive in their approach
-Can fully commit to a full-time role within a specialist SEN setting
