The Role
As a Fund Administration Manager, you will act as the primary client lead, overseeing the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio under the guidance of a Senior Manager. This is a pivotal "A" level signatory role that balances technical oversight with the mentorship of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
• Portfolio Leadership: Lead and coordinate the administration for VC funds, management companies, and associated vehicles, maintaining direct contact with clients and stakeholders.
• Technical Oversight: Act as a 4-eyes signatory, ensuring all deliverables—including investment transactions, payments, and investor reporting—meet the highest industry standards.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee complex lifecycle events such as the setup and licensing of new entities and regulatory filings.
• Team Development: Supervise, train, and manage the performance of direct reports, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
• Project Management: Lead ad-hoc client projects and ensure all statutory records are meticulously maintained.
About You
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives under pressure and possesses the leadership gravitas to inspire a team. You should bring:
• Qualifications: A recognized professional designation such as CGI (ICSA), ACCA, or ACA, or a minimum of 6 years of dedicated fund administration experience.
• Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of GFSC regulations, the Protection of Investors law, and AML frameworks.
• Leadership: At least 2 years of proven experience in people management.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities are essential for navigating this fast-moving sector.
