Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
A fully comprehensive, mixed-ability 11–16 secondary school in Waltham Cross is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time teaching role, delivering engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
You will be part of a supportive Humanities department, planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons that cater to a diverse student body. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a passion for inspiring students through the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Geography to students in KS3 and KS4
• Plan and assess in line with school policies and national curriculum standards
• Differentiate for mixed-ability classes, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental development
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in a secondary setting
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to comprehensive education and inclusive practice
