HR / ER Generalist
Location: Central Hertfordshire (Head Office)
Hybrid Working - Full-Time
£50-£55,000 pa plus Benefits
Delighted to be partnering with this leading business in their field. Based at the Head Office in Central Hertfordshire, you’ll play a key role in delivering first-class employee relations advice with a flexible, commercial and people-focused approach.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing a variety of ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, redundancy and consultations
Providing clear, pragmatic advice to managers that balances legislation, best practice and fairness
Advising on absence and wellbeing issues, including long-term sickness and capability, in collaboration with Occupational Health and insurance providers
Supporting complex people issues to drive the best outcomes for individuals and the business
Partnering with HRBPs on business-wide initiatives and capability development
Delivering impactful management development initiatives and sharing best practice
What you’ll bring:
CIPD qualified (or working towards)
Strong HR generalist experience and excellent knowledge of employment law
Proven ability to assess risk and make sound decisions
Skilled in absence and wellbeing management
Confident managing a diverse workload and building stakeholder relationships
Experience working with unions and understanding of TUPE (desirable)
