Position: KS3/KS4 Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full time/Day to Day/ Long term
Start Date: ASAP
As a teaching assistant with Axcis you will:
• Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
• Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
• Provide support advice and guidance.
About our settings:
• Are currently recruiting additional Teaching Assistants in schools in Salford and the surrounding areas.
• Are predominantly mainstream Secondary schools. However, we do have roles available in other settings for the right candidate.
• Are warm and friendly environments.
• Provide learning opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom.
• Support students to find new talents.
