Contract: Long-Term Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a highly supportive secondary special school in N7 from September. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity to work with students aged 11–19 who have a range of additional needs, helping them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for life beyond school.
The school currently supports around 130 students from Year 7 to Year 14 and provides a nurturing and ambitious learning environment where every young person is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Support students with communication, social and emotional development
• Encourage independence and life skills both in and out of the classroom
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents and external professionals
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Is patient, compassionate and resilient
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is committed to supporting students to achieve their personal goals
• Has a genuine passion for inclusive education
