The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, and business owners. You will work closely with Partners and Directors, taking on increasing responsibility for client relationships while mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team. Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of private client tax matters, including HNWIs, trusts, and partnerships
Review tax returns and computations prepared by junior team members
Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax matters
Support and mentor junior staff, assisting with their technical development
Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on complex tax queries
Requirements
ATT/CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) with strong private client tax knowledge
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven experience managing a portfolio and reviewing the work of others
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
Strong technical knowledge of current UK tax legislation
