This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded Private Client Tax Director to take ownership of a substantial portfolio, lead and develop a talented team, and contribute directly to the strategic growth of the tax function. The successful candidate will play a key role at leadership level within a firm that values ambition and rewards success.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a significant portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals and trusts
Provide strategic tax planning advice across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
Oversee and develop the private client tax team, including mentoring and technical training
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and other professional contacts
Contribute to business development initiatives and support the strategic growth of the department
Requirements
CTA qualified with significant post-qualification experience at a senior or director level
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a team
Excellent technical knowledge of private client tax compliance and advisory work
Commercially astute with strong business development capability
