SEN Teaching Assistants Needed – Primary & Secondary Schools (Oldham)
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term / Day-to-day supply
Pay Rate: £90–£120 per day (dependant on experience and role)

About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and communication difficulties. Your role will involve:
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and differentiated learning
• Supporting students’ emotional, social, and academic development
• Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and school staff
Ideal Candidate
• Passionate about working with children and young people
• Patient, caring, and resilient
• Experienced in supporting SEND students (school or care experience welcome)
• Confident in building positive relationships and encouraging independence
• Available for immediate work or a January 2026 start
