Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day running of your own diverse portfolio of clients, containing a mix of trusts and companies. Working under the guidance of a Trust Supervisor or Assistant Trust
Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Portfolio Management: Overseeing routine and complex arrangements for a variety of international clients across all asset classes.
• Statutory & Administration: Ensuring all statutory records are accurately maintained and kept up to date at all times.
• Financial Transactions: Entering payments and identifying receipts accurately as required.
• Governance: Preparing minutes and resolutions of the Trustee/Board for routine matters.
• Entity Reviews: Assisting with clearing action points arising from annual reviews.
• Collaboration & Liaison: Partnering with internal departments on legal, accounting, and taxation matters, and liaising directly with clients and intermediaries.
• Mentorship: Training and assisting junior staff members with queries and problem-solving.
Experience & Attributes Required
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills:
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, specifically managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Qualifications: Educated to ‘A’ Level standard (or equivalent) and holding a relevant professional qualification, such as a STEP Certificate or Diploma.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Work Style: A dedicated team player who can work effectively to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
