An international law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Funds & Regulatory Lawyer to join their Corporate team in Guernsey. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a partner-led team, manage complex corporate matters, and play a key role in the firm's investment funds and regulatory practice.
This role is open for candidates who are willing to relocate to Guernsey as licence and relocation support will be provided.
About the role:
This position involves handling a diverse range of corporate matters with a focus on investment funds and regulatory work.
You will:
• Advise clients and intermediaries, drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
• Lead transaction teams, ensuring the highest service levels for clients.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Support business development initiatives to drive the firm's growth.
• Handle administrative tasks, including conflict checks, engagement letters, and billing.
The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent academic credentials and professional qualifications (common law jurisdiction preferred).
• A minimum of five years’ PQE in corporate, financial services, funds, and regulatory law.
• Strong ability to interpret complex legal information and provide tailored advice.
• Proven experience drafting a range of legal documents.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to professional development and the ability to work autonomously.
