Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Lyneham, SN15
Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles available, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary with a view to becoming permanent
Our primary school serves children ages 4-11 and offers specialised support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including a dedicated Resource Base and inclusive programs like Forest School. We focus on nurturing the whole child in a mainstream environment with tailored support for individual needs.
Requirements:
• Experience with children with ASD or SEND is highly desirable.
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable with a caring attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with staff.
Ideal Candidate:
Has 6 months experience in:
• Nurseries, colleges, youth clubs, residential or care homes, or personal SEND experience
• Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art, or drama
Additional Information:
• Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
• Full-time and part-time roles available
• Pay: £89 per day, based on experience
• Initially temporary, with potential for permanence
