Axcis are currently working alongside a wonderful Primary School in Cannock, Staffordshire who are looking for someone to support their students with special educational needs as a Primary Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to help support KS1 and KS2 students on a 1:1 basis and also supporting smaller groups, ensuring they get the best enjoyment and learning experience that every child deserves.
The opportunity:
• To become a Primary Teaching Assistant
• To work and support students with special educational needs
• £90 - £105 per day, please be aware that pay rates will depend on skills and experience
• Term Time Only
• Based in Cannock, Staffordshire
• Starting ASAP until the end of the academic year - Monday-Friday 08:30am-3:30pm
• Fulltime and Part time available
Key Responsibilities:
• Working 1:1 or small groups of students with a range of special educational needs
• Attend to a pupil’s specific needs and follow all care plans in place.
• Providing support to students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully engage and participate in activities.
• Supporting students with various ranges of learning disabilities that may include supporting nonverbal students, students with limited speech and challenging behavior
