SPLD Specialist – Primary & Secondary Support

Setting: Primary & Secondary Schools
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SPLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) Specialist to work across both Primary and Secondary school settings in the IG8 area. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to support students with a variety of learning needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted interventions and support strategies for students with SPLD.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff across multiple schools.
- Carry out assessments and contribute to EHCP processes as needed.
- Provide tailored support and resources to enable access to the curriculum.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Ability to adapt support across both Primary and Secondary age ranges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning need
