Description
We are searching for a caring Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN/ SEND TA) to work in a large, bustling primary school starting ASAP. The school itself is very busy, and prides itself on its diversity and creativity. The school is within easy access by public transport and has a spacious (and free!) car park area you are welcome to use.
This role is working 1:1 with an autistic child with anxiety in upper KS2. They are calm and loving, but need support and reassurance. Your role will be to support them during school hours, but you will also need to be able to build and maintain a constructive rapport so that you can help them to manage their anxiety and develop independence.
This 1-1 TA role is full-time from Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.30, with pay rates starting at £89 per day depending on experiences. No experience or qualifications necessary for this role, however if you have experience with someone with mental health needs (SEMH), in particular anxiety, that would be advantageous!
