Primary Teaching Assistant – Tameside
Location: Tameside Borough
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Pay Rate: £90.00 - £110, PAYE (Experiance Dependant)
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work across schools in the Tameside borough, supporting children in Early Years, KS1, and KS2.
The Role:
• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis, offering tailored support to children with varying abilities.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management.
• Support children with their social, emotional, and academic development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and/or Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.
• Knowledge of supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other additionalrequirements.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
• Strong communication skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Ability to work flexibly within different year groups and adapt to the needs of each class.
